UPMC Health Plan, our 50th Anniversary Community Celebration Presenting Founders Sponsor, has endlessly supported the WC&S mission for decades. From the time our spring event was called the Spring Clothes Out until today, UPMC Health Plan’s generosity and partnership has helped to empower tens of thousands of survivors and their children to begin new lives, free from abuse.

As one of the founding members of STANDING FIRM, the business case for ending partner violence, UPMC Health Plan encourages other companies to join and responsibly support their employees who may be survivors of partner violence. We sincerely thank UPMC Health Plan for helping to spread the message of STANDING FIRM since its inception.

One of our favorite things about UPMC Health Plan is that it fosters an environment where leaders are encouraged to give of their time to causes they care about. UPMC leader Paula Powe, M.D., and the recently retired John Lovelace both serve on the WC&S Board of Directors and selflessly provide their expertise. Many more UPMC staff members serve on various WC&S committees, volunteer, and host fundraisers to benefit WC&S.
