K&L Gates is an Empowerment Ambassador for Celebrating Survivors 2022 and our wonderful partnership goes back more than 40 years! The Sherley and Ted Craig Humanitarian Award, given annually at Celebrating Survivors, was named in loving memory of Ted Craig, K&L Gates partner, and Sherley Craig, both of whom were ardent supporters of WC&S and DV survivors. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing them miss them very much. The children’s outdoor area and outdoor pet area were also named for Ted and Sherley and were made possible by K&L Gates partners and the Craig family.

K&L Gates staff members are dedicated volunteers, too – hosting holiday parties, making meals for Shelter residents and their children, cleaning, landscaping, and raising money for the annual Adopt-A-Family holiday gift card drive. We are honored to have K&L Gates staff members on the WC&S Board of Directors, Advisory Council, and committees. This rich partnership means the world to us, and we’re excited to continue our friendship for years to come. Thank you for your support, K&L Gates!
